Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 1982) is a well-known American actor. She is most famously known for her role appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. The couple had separated and she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles. She was struggling to survive at the time she landed her first role in acting in the film Rachel's Room's leading character. The TV film Murder in Greenwich, in which she portrayed 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination of a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford, the character she played in Lost from 2004 until 2005 was selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was forced to quit the show in order to concentrate on her professional film work. She had appeared alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog in 2005. In 2007, she starred on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. The same character was played by Grace on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace played Shannon's part as Shannon in Lost for two additional episodes. This included the series final. In 2013, Grace appears in Californianation, the sixth season. The actress portrays Faith as a groupie as well as a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager, she began to work on small roles with her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko alongside her twin brother. She then appeared on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received nominations for the Golden Globe Award in both the drama Sherrybaby (2005) as well as the love story Secretary (2002). Both films received acclaim from critics. In the wake of several successful commercial films in 2006 such as World Trade Center she received more attention for her role as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). The year 2009 was the time she was recognized as the best supporting Actress at the Oscar Awards for her performance of a single mom in Crazy Heart. In the following years, she played in comedies and dramas which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Apart from her character as an agent of the Secret Service agent, she has also appeared on screen in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014). The latest roles included as the main character The Kindergarten Teacher The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal started her career as a director, screenwriter and script writer, when she directed and wrote the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter. The film received the award for Best Screenplay in The Venice International Film Festival, and it was nominated by the Academy Award.
