 There are a variety of factors that cause infertility both in the male and female reproductive systems. However, it is sometimes impossible to identify the reasons for infertility.tubal disorders such as fallopian tubes that are blocked, which are then result from untreated sexually transmitted illnesses (STIs) or complications from unsafe abortion, postpartum sepsis or abdominal/pelvic surgeries; uterine conditions that could be inflammatory in nature (such as endometriosis) and congenital (such as septate uterus), or benign in nature (such as fibroids);disorders of the endocrine glands that lead to imbalances of reproductive hormones. The hypothalamus, pituitary , and other glands are all part of the hormonal system. Hypopituitarism and pituitary tumors are two common disorders that affect this system.
