Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. Growing up she was influenced by Boleros, classical music and the more traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to provide her with more intense singing instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. While a student, and as a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choirs. In 2000 she moved back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007 she moved to her current home in Southern California. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keeps her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
