Matthew Matt James, born 5 December 1991 from North Carolina. He is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The mother of Manny James was caucasian while his father was Nigerian. In 2010, James completed his studies at Sanderson High School. Then James attended Wake Forest University in order to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Economics. James became famous when he made his on-screen first appearance as a reality show star on The Bachelorette. James was picked in the year 2020 as the new bachelor for The Bachelor season 25, making him the initial African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James had the perfect look for his role. He's tall and handsome, with a good attitude. Rachael Krakconnell, who James had picked as his partner for the rest of the season. James teamed up with popular professional dancer Arnold in 2021, to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold came 12th.
