He attempted stand-up comedy when he was in his early 20s. While his stand-up comedy venture did not succeed however, it served as the basis to his acting career. He was offered a TV show and he was a regular on various episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. It was no surprise that He quickly became a renowned TV actor. Following the success of his acting career in film, his funny appearances brought him plenty of attention. His fame was further elevated after he was praised for his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. As an actor, he grew over time and ventured into the direction and production areas. The 2013 Birdman film won him a number of awards and nominations.
